"Each puppy
comes with a "Full One Year Health Guarantee" unless
price reduced to $200 or less than $200 as then it
is no longer practicable for me to give a years
health guarantee for a puppy at such a low selling
price.
NOTE: All puppies come with all vaccinations up to
date for their age, dewormed, complete health
records, etc. All puppies sold, regardless of
selling price come with a 10 day Health Guarantee
from date of purchase against any Kennel Diseases.
10 days being the maximum Incubation period for any
and all Contagious Diseases known. It is up to you
the buyer to prevent the puppy from coming into
contact with a dog harbouring a disease until 10
days past the puppies second vaccination.
Just some reasons for price reduction may be
as simple as the puppy is getting older and needs to
find a new, loving home quickly so it Bonds with
it's new home/people easier. Or perhaps the mother
of the puppy or puppies is having a hard time
getting used to weaning her babies so it is best
they go to new homes as soon as possible for her
sake. I cherish my adult dogs and their
feelings come first!!!
A puppy with a mild, non
threatening condition such as a small hernia or
slight heart murmur (classed as a number 2 murmur or
less) still comes with the "One Year Health
Guarantee" with provisions made for such non life
threatening conditions. One such provision is
having already reduced the price of the puppy for
you, the buyer.
Any puppy such as one with a large hernia
that is very serious, the hernia will be repaired by
my Vet before the puppy is offered for sale and then
a "Full One Year Health Guarantee" will be in effect
as the problem has already been repaired.
Any puppy such as one with a heart murmur
definitely defined by my Vet as greater than a 2 will
be reehomed to a carefully chosen home for Free.
Such puppies still can live long, active, healthy
lives with the right people who take extra care with
said puppy/dog. NOTE: I have had only 2 such
babies in 25 years so this is a very rare occurrence
in my carefully selected Mother and Father dogs.
All my buyers are told up front before
purchase if a puppy did or does have any medical
condition such as mentioned above. I take great
pride in being 100% honest with any and all buyers.
Many of my buyers have become personal friends of
mine and many have purchased one, two, three or even
four puppies and/or adult dogs off me over the many
years I have dedicated my life to dogs.
NOTE: The trouble with
buying puppies off of someone without the Knowledge
or Experience like I have, is they may sell you a
puppy not even knowing themselves if something is
wrong with it? Then
of course are the ones that know very well something
is wrong with the puppy and purposely do not tell
you. I believe that buying off of me
or "Anyone like me" with my love of dogs and my
experience ensures that you know what your bringing
home to become a cherished member of your family.
I will work closely
with you on House Training, Feeding,
Grooming, and Puppy Behaviour Tips. You
will receive Samples of food and toys along
with your Puppy's Information Kit. I am
available for the life time of the dog to
answer any questions you may have.
All puppies are raised
right in the house. My adult dogs also live in
the house, not locked up in
pens/kennels/buildings somewhere outside. This
way the adults know love and a happy home too!!!
NOTE: My beloved
Adults are not bred every heat cycle. They are
bred only once a year to ensure they remain
healthy. You will
meet the parents of the puppy, in fact all the
dogs when coming. They love company! Everyone
is Welcome to come visit and learn about dogs
even if not looking to purchase.
There are always
adorable adult dogs for adoption for a small fee
which helps cover the cost of Spaying/Neutering,
plus vaccinations, which is done BEFORE being
released to a new home. They
are to approved homes only. Some are my own dogs,
some are Rescues. I not only raise dogs, I
also rescue dogs (actually many creatures, both two
legged and four legged) Basic requirements to adopt
an adult dog are:
(1) Must
own your own home.
(2)
Must have a large, SECURELY fenced yard for the dog
to play in as they are used to running free here on
the farm and do not do well without a large,
securely fenced yard to run/play in. They also may
wander AT FIRST if adopted to a country home without
a fenced yard. As they have never been tied up in
their lives, I simply will not allow them to go to a
home where they will be tied for any reason. Past
experience has shown that they are miserable and
terribly unhappy being tied up as they are adults,
not puppies any longer. Perhaps puppies can adapt
to being tied, adults cannot.
(3)
The fenced yard must lead directly from the door of
the house, without having to carry or lead the dog
to the yard. Simply because though all are house
trained they are used to a doggie door and coming
and going when they wish too. It has proven to be
difficult for them if the new owner cannot just open
the door up to let them in or out.
(4) No
children under 12 years old. They are not used to
children and unlike puppies who can quickly adapt to
children, they have a harder time. Once bonded with
their new owner and territory, they do fine with
grand children and visiting small children.
These
adult dogs all need
loving homes. They are here at Bonnyville, Alberta,
Canada. If you think you have a big enough heart to
adopt one of these wonderful dogs, please let us
know. All people will be carefully screened to
ensure they meet the requirements. We do this
because our dogs are not just some disposable item,
but deserving of truly caring and loving
homes. Please look up Bonnyville on an Alberta Road
Map if you do not know where it is. Thanks.
Due to the rise in the cost of
gasoline, dogs can be delivered to many close
northern regions but a non refundable deposit is
required before delivery.
No guess
work in adopting an adult. Already house trained
and already full grown so you know the adult size.
You will know what to expect with a cherished adult
dog as I will work closely with you on the adult
fitting into it's new (your) home.
Although
we ask that the dog be returned to us if it does not
fit into your home, we ask that you DO NOT consider
adopting an adult dog unless you intend to give the
dog an Honest 30 days to adjust to it's new home and
territory. It takes time for an adult dog to
adjust. It does not happen in 2 days or sometimes
even 2 weeks. They need time to learn your rules
and learn to fit into the new, strange territory.
No monies paid are Refunded at time of return. There
are many excellent documents on adopting Adult dogs
(or buying puppies too) under the OUR ARCHIVES
section of our website.
