Cooling Off In The Hot Hot Summer Heat

 

Hello everyone!

I remember well swimming with horses when I was a youngster.  The horses, "Spike and Patti" enjoyed it and so did us girls as a way to cool off on the hottest of summer days.

Well, except for "Rusty" who to late, I discovered that some horses can't swim?  Instead they just panic endangering themselves and the person. That was the first and last time I introduced Rusty to swimming.  One of the best horses I ever had at anything you asked of him. He survived and I survived but it was a tense few minutes before he got his feet back on solid ground.

So do not try this at home, without Rescue People Available!!!
